Zoom Whitening

It’s an in-office teeth whitening procedure. It is commonly performed by the dental assistant on anterior (front) teeth. It’s a 1 hour treatment broken up into four 15 minute sessions. The dental assistant (DA) will take impressions for bleaching trays, upper and lower, and then begin the whitening procedure.¬†the whitening gel is applied to the facial (front) part of your teeth and then spread in an even coat. In some cases a “pre treatment liquid” is applied prior to the whitening gel which is thought to help with sensitivity. However, most updated whitening kits don’t include it because it didn’t noticeable cut down sensitivity.¬†Overall, ZOOM! is a great and very effective whitening procedure and is very safe, provided that you are properly educated and more importantly, providing that the dental assistant follows proper protocol for the treatment
